You spent last semester getting your feet wet in ANNOTATION. This semester, you're going to take more ownership in your annotation efforts. It's important to know that ANNOTATION is also called CLOSE READING, so don't be confused when that term is used in place of annotation. |

(and be ready to define them) 2. Create a system that works for you (and be ready to explain each mark you make) 3. Use your margins (for meaningful notes to help you remember) * When possible, always download your document/webpage/etc. as a PDF for annotating purposes. |
I suggest you read the article to the right if you have any trouble creating your own "plan of attack." You may be required to read and summarize the article should your independent attempts to annotate prove inadequate.
