Test Remediation.
In order to earn back points on your vocabulary test, you must follow the directions below. If you failed the test (scored a 59 or lower) you are required to attend Power U until the corrections are complete. If you smily want to improve your passing grade, you do not have to complete the corrections in Power U, but the must be completed and turned in by Tuesday, February 23rd.
For every correction, you will be awarded HALF of the points you lost. This ensures a passing grade for everyone!
Directions:
Write each word you missed on a separate sheet of paper. For that word, write the complete definition from your daybook AND a sentence with that word. IF you don't complete both parts (the definition AND the sentence, you will not receive any credit!)
Example:
1. voracious: desiring or consuming great quantities. I had a voracious appetite after I ran my first marathon.
